Wing, group and squadron-level leadership within the 341st Missile Wing are briefed at the Crisis Action Team as part of Global Thunder 21 Oct. 20, 2020, at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. Global Thunder is an exercise to test readiness and ensure a safe, secure, ready and reliable strategic deterrent force. The annual exercise is based on a national scenario developed to drive execution of U.S. Strategic Command and component forces' ability to support the geographic combatant commands, deter adversaries and, if necessary, employ forces as directed by the President of the United States.
