U.S. Army 1st Sgt. Doug Stewart, assigned to Headquarters, Headquarters Troop, 1st Squadron, 172nd Cavalry Regiment, (Mountain), became the oldest Soldier to ever graduate from the U.S. Army Mountain Warfare School in Jericho, Vermont, on the 16th of October. It’s long been a goal of Stewart to attend the course, which prepares Soldiers to conduct operations in mountainous terrain in all weather conditions.
