200915-N-AQ438-3001 PORT HUENEME, Calif. (Sep. 15, 2020) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion FOUR (NMCB 4) generate freshwater from seawater using a Lightweight Water Purification System (LWPS) in order to exercise water production capabilities to support construction of an Advance Naval Base. Seabees are the expeditionary engineering and construction experts of the naval service providing task-tailored, adaptable and combat-ready engineering and construction forces that deploy to support global Navy objectives.
