Military policemen from the 116th Military Police Company, out of Fort Riley, Kan., assist a role-player, acting as a wounded civilian, in walking to a field litter ambulance after bandaging his leg and applying an improvised splint during a search and extraction Vibrant Response 13 field training exercise at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Ind., Aug. 3. Throughout the past week of training, approximately 5,000 service members and civilians participated in the exercise to demonstrate their ability to support the Defense Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Response Force (DCRF) mission.
