U.S. Airmen with the 673d Force Support Squadron set up a single-pallet expeditionary kitchen in a simulated remote location as part of exercise Polar Force 21-1 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 15, 2020. Polar Force is a biannual two-week mission readiness exercise designed to test multiple elements of the Agile Combat Employment concept of operations. The exercise allows Soldiers and Airmen from units across JBER to develop and strengthen the skills required in austere environments and adverse situations.
