Col. Jay Veeder, commander of the 18th Medical Group, took a moment to show his appreciation and thank the Marine Corps Installations Pacific on MCAS Futenma, Japan for their COVID-19 response efforts, Oct. 26, 2020. They were instrumental in getting COVID-19 test kits to Camp Humphreys, South Korea, in an expedient manner. Fighting COVID-19 is a joint effort and will continue to be in order to keep the SOFA community on Okinawa safe, healthy, and ready to ensure a free and open Indo-Pacific.
