A 39th Rescue Squadron pilot flies an HC-130J Combat King II aircraft above the clouds Oct. 6, 2020. The 39th RQS operates the HC-130J Combat King II aircraft for its personnel recovery mission in both combat and peacetime situations. The Combat King II's capabilities include helicopter air-to-air refueling, airdrops, command and control. The ability to receive fuel in-flight is due to the nose- mounted electro-optical/infrared sensor as well as a combat systems operator flight deck station. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt.
