The Personal Security Detachment, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), is a small team of Marines and one sailor dedicated to traveling throughout Helmand Province, Afghanistan. The special team is responsible for ensuring the security of Brig. Gen. John J. Broadmeadow, Commanding General, 1st MLG (Fwd), during his battle field circulations.
