Slavonic tours the Flight Deck with Captain Garrett Miller, Executive Officer and Command Master Chief Jacob Shafer during his visit to the Zumwalt-class destroyer USS Michael Monsoor (DDG 1001) . Secretary Slavonic traveled to Southern California to meet with Sailors and Marines, gaining enhanced insight to Fleet modernization, cyber and readiness efforts that will ultimately build a more lethal force.
