Staff Sgt. Will Robinson, 372nd Training Squadron A-10 Thunderbolt II avionics instructor, removes a dual in-line package from a circuit board as part of a grading step during the Miniature and Micro-miniature Repair Program at the 372nd TRS Detachment 17 here. The 2M course is a U.S. Navy certification program, which teaches airmen how to do in-house repairs on circuit board components that would otherwise be sent back to the manufacturer or to heavy maintenance for repair or thrown away. Last year, the program saved U.S. Air Forces in Europe $4.8 million.
