ORLANDO, Fla. (November 5, 2020) - U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. David Siemion, commander of the 125th Fighter Wing Headquarters Section, officiates the promotion of U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Luis Mendez to the rank of Senior Master Sgt. Mendez serves as the first sergeant for the 125th Fighter Wing Headquarters Section and the 125th Operations Group. He is also serving as the first sergeant for the 125th Air Expeditionary Squadron which is responding to COVID-19. First Sergeants are responsible for providing sound advice to the commander on a wide range of topics including the health, esprit de corps, discipline, mentoring, well being, career progression, recognition and professional development of all assigned enlisted members.
