201102-M-GW555-1620 KUWAIT (Nov. 2, 2020) - A U.S. Marine Corps F/A-18C fighter jet, left, and a U.S. Navy F/A-18E fighter jet, both embarked on the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68), taxi on the runway following an air delivered ground refueling mission in Kuwait, Nov. 2. U.S. Marines are capable of supporting strike warfare by providing an expeditionary Tactical Aircraft Forward Arming and Refueling Point, which extends the range and availability of carrier-based aircraft operations.
