BAHRAIN (Oct. 29, 2020) U.S. Navy CDR Rafal B. Banek, assigned to Expeditionary Resuscitative Surgical System, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade performs enroute critical care on a simulated casualty, Oct. 29, 2020. The ERSS team is a rapidly embarkable surgical capability that provides a light and agile expeditionary medical capability consisting of a ten member team trained to provide rapid damage control, resuscitative care, damage control surgery, and enroute critical care in support of Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade forces.
