Nearly 200 enlisted and commissioned Navy medical professionals participate in stretcher bearer exercises during the Naval Expeditionary Medical Institute (NEMTI) Kandahar Role 3 course at Camp Pendleton, Calif. The two-week course, now in it's second iteration, is designed to provide necessary current professional skills training before the participants in the course deploy to Kandahar's Role 3 Hospital and other forward operating base medical facilities.
