Lt. Col. Gary Grubb, who serves as the newly appointed commander of the 2nd Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, receives the battalion guidon from Col. Barry Huggins, who serves as the 2nd SBCT commander, during an assumption of command ceremony at Forward Operating Base Walton, Afghanistan Aug. 8. The guidon serves as a symbol of all of the accomplishments of the 2nd BSB throughout its history.
