Members of Helicopter Visit, Board, Search and Seizure Team 1, maintain control of their line after fast-roping from an SH-60F Seahawk onto the flight deck of Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). HVBSS-1 is the first dedicated HVBSS team to reach operational status and is training aboard Lincoln in preparation for a future deployment. Lincoln and embarked Carrier Air Wing 2 are underway off the coast of Southern California participating in the Composite Training Unit Exercise.
