A U.S. Marine with Marine Rotational Force Europe 21.1 (MRF-E), Marine Forces Europe and Africa, inserts rounds to a weapon to conduct a live-fire range using Assault Amphibious Vehicles (AAV) in Setermoen, Norway, Nov. 21, 2020. During this range, a Marine mounted a Mark-19 onto an AAV. The range focused on assessing the accuracy and ability of the AAV’s to maneuver and fire upon targets at a distance. MRF-E focuses on regional engagements throughout Europe by conducting various exercises, arctic cold-weather and mountain warfare training, and military-to-military engagements, which enhance overall interoperability of the U.S. Marine Corps with allies and partners.
