Col. Stephen Marr, Chief of Staff, 7th Army Training Command, and Meghan Gregonis, U.S. Consul General (Munich), present a commemorative coin that was minted by the diplomatic mission of the U.S. in Germany to Prof. Dr. Jörg Skriebeleit, director of the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp Memorial, and Karl Freller, Bavarian Memorial Foundation director on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Flossenbürg Concentration Camp at Flossenbürg, Bavaria, Nov 23. The visit of the consulate to the memorial also marks the beginning of “American Week” (November 23-27, 2020), an initiative of the US diplomatic mission to highlight the German-American friendship.
