Military Working Dog Rudo’s official photo taken July 28, 2017, with his then handler Senior Airman Anthony Martinelli, 88th Security Forces Squadron, in the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, photography studio. Martinelli, now a staff sergeant with the 66th SFS, Hanscom AFB, Mass., Marinelli remembers that coworkers teased him about the pose in this photo but that it was Rudo’s idea to put his paw on top of his hand, turn to the camera and smile.
