SAN DIEGO (Dec. 7, 2020) Hospitalman Salma Ochoa (left) and Vanessa Silva, both Sailors assigned to Naval Base San Diego’s (NBSD) Branch Health Clinic’s (BHC) new coronavirus (COVID-19) drive-thru testing site, review COVID-19 testing information at the site’s screening tent Dec. 7. NBSD’s BHC’s testing site is for active duty service members with referrals, and offers anterior swab testing. NMCSD’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research. NMCSD employs more than 6,000 active duty military personnel, civilians, and contractors in Southern California to provide patients with world-class care anytime, anywhere.
