General Gary L. Thomas, Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps, meets with Marines of the San Jose Innovation Cell after their presentation at the Defense Innovation Unit on Dec. 10, 2020 in San Jose, California. The Marines developed a wearable eye-piece, the T-Glass, that is capable of accessing technical manuals as well as recording regular maintenance functions for analysis using a camera attachment. The T-Glass initiative's goal is to streamline the equipment maintenance process by organizing and facilitating simplified access to technical manuals and creating data analysis tools in order to determine maintenance best practices.
