201210-N-NC885-1017 NORTH ARABIAN SEA (Dec. 10, 2020) Chief Boatswain's Mate Cameron McKay, from Seattle, monitors Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Kelvin Tyler, from Philadelphia, as he signals an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter from the "Screamin’ Indians" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 6 during flight operations aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104) in the North Arabian Sea, Dec. 10. Sterett is part of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three critical chokepoints to the free flow of global commerce.
