A CH-53D Sea Stallion with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 362 prepares to fly over Helmand province, Afghanistan, Aug. 9, 2012. After 60 years of service, the squadron, known as the "Ugly Angels," will be deactivated. They return to their home station at Marine Corps Base Hawaii later this year. The squadron was activated in 1952 and was the first Marine helicopter squadron to arrive in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
