U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Stanley Dickerson, the executive officer of frigate USS DeWert (FFG 45), salutes destroyer USS Edson (DD 946) July 30, 2012, on the St. Lawrence River. Edson was en route to the Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum in Bay City, Mich. DeWert, coastal patrol ship USS Hurricane (PC 3) and Canadian frigate HMCS Ville de Quebec (FFH 332) visited cities in America and Canada to commemorate the bicentennial of the War of 1812.
