Maj. Gen. Michael Turley, the adjutant general of the Utah National Guard, presents Utah Governor Gary Herbert with a red jacket at the state capitol as he is made an Honorary Colonel, Dec. 7, 2020. Turley inducted the outgoing governor into the Honorary Colonels Corps of Utah for his dedication during his 11 years of service as the commander in chief of the Utah National Guard. The Honorary Colonels Corps of Utah is a group of distinguished local leaders that promote the objectives and values of the Utah Army and Air National Guard throughout the community.
