Lance Cpl. Ryan M. Bloomer, a crew chief with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 467, keeps an eye out for targets and danger on the ground from a UH-1N Huey during a training exercise at Camp Devil Dog, N.C., Aug. 9. The forest made their Forward Looking Infrared less useful, so the Marines relied on normal eyesight to spot their targets. Two helicopters of the squadron made several passes over the urban combat training facilities striking at targets designated by the infantry on the ground.
