Leaders from 1st Bn. 12th Cav. Regt. conducted a sensing session with their Soldiers during People First Action week at Fort Hood, TX. Sensing sessions allow leaders to get direct feedback from junior troopers on challenges within the organization, recommendations on how to fix those challenges, and the opportunity for leaders to engage with all of their Troopers. People First Action Week is a focused week when leaders at all levels take the opportunity to conduct leader certification events, standards-based inspections, command-wide listening sessions and individual counseling sessions helping to build trust in their formations resulting in cohesive teams.
