Sgt. 1st Class Ted Maust, the operations senior enlisted for 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), leads his team through the Squad Battle Position competition at Fort Campbell’s range 17, Aug. 14. The squad’s objective was to defend a perimeter against hostile fire and advance as the enemy withdrew from its position. Maust and his team won 1st place in the competition.
