PORTSMOUTH, Va. (Dec. 23, 2020) – Lt. Titus Hamlett, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) Medical Department, receives the COVID-19 vaccine from Hospitalman Lane Tong, assigned to Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) Immunizations Clinic, Dec. 23. NMCP is supporting the fleet by providing the voluntary vaccination within the DoD phased approach to prioritizing mission-essential healthcare personnel in receiving the vaccine. The John C. Stennis is partnering with Newport News Shipbuilding to complete Refueling Complex Overhaul on schedule with a trained, resilient and cohesive crew.
