INDIAN OCEAN (Dec. 21, 2020) – U.S. Navy Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Brandon Rogers, assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 49, performs maintenance on an MH-60R Sea Hawk on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8). The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit are conducting operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
