Airmen assigned to the 48th Equipment Maintenance Squadron repair and reclamation sections attach a turfer to the underside of an F-15B in order to keep it stable when the aircraft is lifted off the ground during a simulated crash and recovery lift at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, Dec. 29, 2020. One of the repair and reclamation section’s main responsibilities is the Crash Damaged Disabled Aircraft Recovery program, which requires members to be ready at a moment’s notice to respond to any CDDAR event anywhere anytime.
