PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Chief Master Sgt. April Brittain, Command First Sergeant of the U.S. Space Force, stands proudly in her USSF uniform after her transfer ceremony December 18, 2020, at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. Brittain joined the U.S. Air Force in 1994 as a Security Forces member and cross-trained into Communications-Computer Systems Control at Keesler AFB, Mississippi in 1996. According to Brittain, some of her favorite assignments during her 26-year career include the National Reconnaissance Office, at Cape Canaveral, Florida and the Headquarters in Chantilly, Virginia.
