During a virtual ceremony hosted by the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installation, Energy and Environment, local leadership presented the award to NYPD partners, Jan. 13, 2021. Brig. Gen.Thomas J. Tickner, Fort Hamilton’s senior responsible officer and commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, North Atlantic Division presented the award to Garrison leadership, Directorate of Emergency Services, and Captain Andrew Tolson, NYPD 68th Precinct commander.
