Personnel specialist 2nd Class Aida Hernandez, assigned to submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39) plays hacky-sack with a member of the Royal Thai navy at Mechai Pattana School in Pattaya, Thailand, during a community service project. Sailors from Emory S. Land and the Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine USS Buffalo (SSN 715) volunteered at the school as part of a theater security cooperation and friendship mission to the region. Buffalo, homeported in Guam, is on a western Pacific deployment, while Emory S.
