Staff Sgt. Jason Thompson HHC, 4th Sustainment Brigade, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), is given final details of driving a NASCAR race car at Texas Motor Speedway before climbing behind the wheel for 10 “hot laps.” Thompson was recognized by several organizations to participate in Stewart’s “Smoke Show,” an annual event which raises significant funding for Speedway Children’s Charities at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.
