A yellow aircraft rescue firefighting vehicle (ARFV) belonging to the City of Dayton Airport Fire Department is parked in service with other Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Fire Department vehicles inside Fire Station One on Dec. 8, 2020 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Dayton loaned the ARV to the 788th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Station when two of its AVRs went out of service due to mechanical problems. The borrowed Dayton ARFV and another acquired from Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, allowed the 788CES and 88th Operations Support Squadron to continue supporting flight operations at the base until ARFV repairs were completed.
