U.S. Army Reserve Capt. Tammy Heredia, a registered nurse with U.S. Army Reserve Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force 328-1, assigned to support Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, Ariz., informs a patient of what medication they are about to receive, Jan. 21, 2021. Heredia is one of approximately 40 Army Reserve nurses that are working among the hospital’s staff, providing relief and reinforcement during the hospital’s and region’s fight against COVID-19.
