U.S. Navy Vice Chief of Naval Operations, Adm. Mark Ferguson speaks to the crew of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) and Carrier Airwing (CVW) 7 during an all-hands call while underway in the Arabian Sea, Aug. 12, 2012. Ferguson was visiting deployed sailors and leadership in the U.S. Central Command area of operations to thank Navy personnel and demonstrate the continued commitment to regional partners and allies. Eisenhower was deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
