On Jan. 26, 2021, several medical personnel as well as first responders and garrison leadership were among the first people to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at Fort McCoy. The vaccinations were give at the Fort McCoy Health Clinic. In the coming days and weeks, many more personnel are going to receive the vaccine as it becomes available. The effort to get Americans vaccinated is due in part to the work of Operation Warp Speed by the Department of Defense and many others.
