U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Michael Mullen, a combat marksmanship trainer with S-3 Operations, Headquarters and Support Battalion, gives classroom instruction to Marines participating in the annual rifle qualification on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 26, 2021. Once a year, Marines are required to shoot on the known distance course of fire, tables one and two. Upon completion, Marines are awarded a score of marksmanship, sharpshooter or expert.
