U.S. Air Force North Carolina Air National Guard (NCANG) work out details towards final steps during a Cargo Deployment Function (CDF) held at the NCANG Base, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Feb. 7, 2021. A CDF is similar to a personnel deployment line where you have a station to assemble items, check them for quality and to make sure they can safely be loaded onto an aircraft. Once the items are cleared to be loaded onto an aircraft, they reach the final phase of the CDF.
