The senior commanders at Exercise Yudh Abhyas, Indian Army Brigadier Mukesh Bhanwala of the 170th Infantry Brigade and U.S. Army Col. Jared D. Bordwell of the 1-2 Stryker Brigade, conduct a review of the troops during the Yudh Abhyas opening ceremony on Feb. 8, 2021 in India. Yudh Abhyas, incorporating the Indian Army's 11th Jammu and Kashmir (JAK) Rifles Battalion and the U.S. Army's 2-3 Infantry Battalion, builds on the enduring Indian-U.S. partnership through 14 days of combined field training, cultural exchange and a brigade-level command post exercise, leading to greater interoperability between the two nations, in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
