U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Chanaramis Feu-Asuega, Airman and Family Readiness Center service apprentice, models two French braids, displaying updates to Air Force Instruction 36-2903, which take effect Feb. 10, 2021. Women in the Air Force will be allowed to wear their hair in up to two braids or a single ponytail. The bulk cannot exceed the width of the head and the length cannot extend below the horizontal line running between each sleeves under arm inseam, through the shoulder blades.
