Brig. Gen. Russell Johnson, Director of the Joint StaffI and Command Sgt. Maj. Linda Burkhart of the Joint Forces Command render a final salute to the crew of the UH-60 Black hawk that crashed in the foothills outside Boise a week ago. Idaho Army and Air National Guard came together with family, friends and supporters to render honors to three UH-60 Black Hawk pilots.
The Idaho National Guard hosted a memorial Feb. 9, 2021 in honor of Chief Warrant Officer 4 Jesse Anderson, Chief Warrant Officer 3 George “Geoff” Laubhan and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Matthew Peltzer. The three pilots were killed Feb. 2 when their UH-60 Black Hawk crashed outside of Boise.
