Tech. Sgt. Matt Fryz, 36th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, prepares to close the cargo doors of a C-130J Super Hercules following the final troop off-load as part of exercise Arctic Warrior 21 at Donnelly Training Area, AK, Feb. 8, 2021. During the exercise, the 36th AS worked alongside the U.S. Army Alaska to conduct a mass airdrop of paratroopers onto DTA. Once on the ground, the paratroopers simulated the seizure of the nearby landing zone to facilitate follow-on C-130 airland missions to further sustain ground operations.
