WHITE BEACH, Japan (Feb. 20, 2021) Senior Chief Electrician’s Mate Brian Kelley, assigned to Commander, Fleet Activities Okinawa, clear jungle growth obstructing a path to a family tomb onboard CFAO White Beach Naval Facility, Okinawa, Japan Feb. 20, 2021. US Navy and a Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force volunteer worked alongside personnel from Uruma City Heshikiya District Community Center in the path clearing. The on-base tomb path clearing called “jungle attack” is a regularly conducted community service project which maintains accessibility for old family tombs on White Beach.
