Two U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft sit on their hardstands after returning from a deployment to support U.S. Central Command forces involved in Operation Octave Quartz Feb. 1, 2021, at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England. Airmen from the Bloody Hundredth provided vital support for the movement of Department of Defense assets including the relocation of U.S. forces in Somalia. During the deployment, 100th Air Refueling Wing aircraft and Airmen offloaded 2.29 million pounds of fuel to 228 receivers and conducted more than 47 missions for a total of 258.8 hours.
