Ricardo Roig, the commander of the Florida Army National Guard’s 50th Regional Support Group, affirms that his unit is ready to strengthen the U.S. and Polish relationship as they embark on their nine-month deployment during a Relief in Place/Transfer of Authority ceremony Feb. 26, 2021, in the hangar of the Powidz Air Base, Powidz, Poland. During the ceremony, the Alaska Army National Guard 297 RSG, transferred authority of the 11 Forward Operating Sites they conducted base operations for across Poland to the Florida ARNG's 50th RSG.
