Rainey Cannady, an aircrew flight equipment specialist with the 165th Operations Group, Georgia Air National Guard, completes a routine inspection of an aircrew member’s safety gear prior to a scheduled flight on Mar. 4, 2021 in Savannah, Ga. Aircrew Flight Equipment Airmen play an important role in the overall mission of the 165th Airlift Wing because they are responsible for ensuring flight and safety equipment is in perfect working order and that crew members will have the supplies necessary for any situation that may arise while flying a mission.
