Senior Airman Duncan McIntyre, 23d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron dedicated crew chief, marshalls an A-10C Thunderbolt II for a weapons upload and a refuel from a STARCART Feb. 23, 2021, at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. The STARCART is a prototype 300 gallon-per-minute refueling platform designed to provide Combatant Commanders a “light and lean” refueling capability to generate aircraft in any environment. The 23d Logistics Readiness Squadron Fuels Management Flight tested the STARCART’s capabilities during Mosaic Tiger 21-1 to determine its suitability to generate aircraft in support of the Air Forces new agile combat employment construct.
